2015 Holystone Zinfandel 1.5L
If ever a wine was destined to be uncorked for a group gathered around a camp fire, the 2015 'Holystone' Zinfandel fits the bill. It’s plump and intense; extracted and expressive. There’s anise and sage on the nose, wild raspberries and loganberries on the palate. Tinges of cinnamon and plum skins join in at the trailing edge. Like the lasting embers from a prolonged evening sharing stories, this wine will have contributed to the warmth of the occasion. The profile ends with a smoky finish.

Winemaker Notes
Our ‘Holystone’ Zinfandel is comprised of a symphony of Paso Robles Zinfandel vineyards. With majority of the fruit from the Westside blended with premium rows from our East side Estate vineyard. We begin with a Westside 15 year old irrigated and vertically head trained vineyard and cherry pick from a 52 year old head trained Vineyard rounded off with hand chosen Estate fruit. Syrah and Petite Sirah were added to the Zinfandel for color. Aged 21 months in 33% New French and Hungarian oak barrels.
