2017 Holystone Zinfandel 1.5L
The 2017 Holystone puts the “fan” in Zinfandel, namely those who are fanatic for boldness and depth of flavor. Prominent raspberries and boysenberries are joined by blueberries and plums. Notes of allspice, tobacco, and nutmeg idle at the periphery adding dimension to the profile. Smooth tannins and level acidity underscore a chewy texture. Notes of star anise and cinnamon emerge on the appetizing finish.

Winemaker Notes
The Holystone is essential on any ship to keep it running smoothly, as is this wine! Hand picked Zinfandel is fermented in stainless steel and then barrel aged for 20 months in 30% new French and Hungarian oak. This year's Holystone has bright, natural acidity from the Zinfandel, blended with a small portion of Syrah and Petite Sirah to help build mouthfeel and tannin.
