2019 Estate Merlot
This delicious Merlot opens with alluring aromas of raspberry, vanilla, star anise, and cinnamon. Flavors of Ruby Red apple and cherry pie, along with hints of baking chocolate, unfold beautifully on the palate. The tannins are upfront but not overbearing and develop into a velvety finish.

Winemaker Notes
This once underappreciated varietal is making a comeback, and our RBZ Vineyard has the perfect climate for growing Merlot! Handpicked and then fermented on the skins for two weeks, we pump this Merlot over twice per day during fermentation to extract maximum color and aromatics. This vintage was aged in 20% new French oak for 18 months.
