2019 Paris Valley Road L'Entrevue
An intriguing approach and inviting palate are lovely consequences of blending this varietal duet. Focused, detailed, and complex, it’s a union demonstrating that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The profile delivers violets, leather, and eucalyptus on the nose. Cherries, blackberries, currants, plums, and graphite fill the palate. Cedar and mesquite accentuate the contours. There’s harmony and dimension as the sinewy tannins and nimble acidity provide exquisite texture complemented by a balanced and seamless finish.

Winemaker Notes
L'Entrevue is an uncommon blend of cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. The dark color and floral aromatics of petit verdot combine well with our fresh red fruit cabernets. Similar to blending grape varietals, we have experimented with using multiple oak types within our petit verdot lots, seeking the right balance of French, Hungarian, and American oak to compliment this bold and robust wine.
