2019 Windemere MacGregor Pinot Noir
This historic vineyard produces a Pinot Noir each year that will keep you coming back for more. The 2019 MacGregor Pinot Noir is dominated by lush notes of strawberry, rhubarb, and cranberry up front. An Old-World winemaking approach also allows notes of wet soil and freshly picked wild mushrooms to become apparent. Bright acidity is present across the entire palate, paired with beautiful, cherry-like fruit tannins, bringing you back for more after every sip.

Winemaker Notes
The fruit was sourced from our MacGregor Vineyard in Edna Valley. After harvest, the fruit was sorted and gently destemmed into small 1.5 ton fermenters. After a 2-3 day cold soak the fermentation began natively. At around 0 Brix, the free run was drained and the must was gently pressed directly to barrel where it underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine aged for 9 months in 15% new French oak.
