A wonderful rendition of Paso Robles Cabernet, this wine is popping with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, dark chocolate, and notes of granite. Dark juicy flavors of red plum open on the palate and transition to an elegant tannin build with blackberry compote on the finish. 450 cases produced.

Winemaker Notes
Kamal is one of the oldest and most sought-after wines at Sextant. The soil profile at our estate ranch in El Pomar and the wide variety of Cabernet Sauvignon clones allow us to produce a consistently dark, vibrant, and authentic Paso Robles Cabernet style blend year after year. In 2020, Petite Verdot and Merlot splashes helped add vibrancy and elegance to the base blend of Cabernet. Each varietal was aged for 20 months in a mix of new and used French oak.
