2020 Windemere MacGregor Pinot Noir

Our MacGregor Vineyard, one of the oldest in Edna Valley, produces the finest pinot noir year in and year out. Influenced by the cooling coastal climate, early morning fog and afternoon breezes allow the grapes to reach maturity slowly and evenly. This pinot screams Edna Valley with bright red fruit such as cherry, strawberry and blackberry up front on the nose. Upon deeper inspection you’ll find hints of wet stone and mushroom pushing through the fruit. Elegant spices including vanilla and cassis come in on the palate, and pair wonderfully with the natural bright acid that this vineyard provides.
