2023 Petite Sirah
Boysenberries and blueberries are at the core of an inky dark red and lavender appearance. Black pepper and dark plums join the fray as mocha and cassis emerge. Sinewy tannins and modest acidity deliver a lush texture. Black tea leaves and herbs trail on the periphery and linger on the appetizing finish.

Winemaker Notes
Petite sirah showcases the depth that Paso Robles can achieve in its wines. We plan our estate petite sirah on traditional, head-trained vines in our RBZ Vineyard, located in the El Pomar sub-AVA. The hot days and cool nights create the ideal environment for producing bold fruit structure and vibrant acidity. The vineyard yields dark, inky, and concentrated small berries, which are fermented in stainless steel and aged for 18 months. For this vintage, we blended in one barrel of syrah to soften the naturally intense tannins of petite sirah.
