Winemaker Notes
The 2023 growing season saw some of the mildest temperatures we’ve had in recent history in Paso Robles. Our grenache blanc hung on the vine into October for the first time in nearly a decade. Even with the extended hang time, the fruit stayed very bright and acid-forward. This wine was lightly pressed, fermented in stainless steel, and aged for just a few months to preserve its natural, fresh acidity. We blended in a splash of viognier this year to round out the mid-palate and bring a hint of tropical tones to the aroma.
