Dark coffee and fig notes are at the leading edge with kirsch and boysenberries soon to follow. Hints of star anise followed by undertones of juniper and cedar provide fragrance and lift. Full-bodied but balanced, no element strays too far from the core. The result is a seamless and velvety texture not easily accomplished, but greatly enjoyed.
