A zinfandel with an abundance of flavor, energized by lively acidity. Raspberries, cranberries, and cherries are up front, while pliable tannins weave together layered notes of red plums, red currants, and allspice. Cinnamon and star anise further engage the mid-palate, with hickory and vanilla notes enlivening the lengthy finish.
