2023 Crosscurrent White Blend
A debut blend of grapes with a profile to beguile. Suited well to Paso Robles growing conditions, the respective varietals are like a painter's palette in creating a blend expressive of the region. Honeysuckle, apricots, and yellow plums arrive on the inviting approach. Lemon zest, mangoes, and tangerines enliven the sumptuous mid-palate. It’s refreshing and complex with a lifted mouthfeel and a persistent finish.

Winemaker Notes
Each varietal in the Crosscurrent blend is hand picked and fermented in stainless steel before being placed in French oak for aging. In early March, we blended all the varietals together and returned them to barrel for three months before bottling. Throughout the aging process we stir the lees in the barrels twice a month to help add depth to the palate. A partial malolactic fermentation also aids in adding texture to the mouthfeel.
