Fragrant violets waft on the approach as cinnamon, vanilla, and sage notes weave nuanced layers across the entire palate. The 2021 Holystone Zinfandel begins with blackberries and boysenberries. Savory contours provide depth as notes of plum sauce and cinnamon merge with underpinnings of hickory, sage, and thyme, and nutmeg and mesquite linger on the charming finish. These zinfandels are a Paso Robles hallmark.
